Learners practice a skill, receive immediate results, and use those results to decide what to review next. Parents and teachers can assign work and monitor learner progress from their dashboards.

We provide comprehensive information on your child’s activity and progress on the site, such as the number of words your child has mastered, their score out of 100, the amount of time it took to complete each exercise and more.

Mastered Words are the words your child has spelled correctly and consistently with no mistakes. Watching your number of Mastered Words go up can be a very encouraging way to track your progress.

Use the detailed reports to find the words your child has trouble with. The scores your child achieves for each exercise are clearly displayed, as is the number of words from that exercise which haven’t yet been mastered. Simply follow the provided link to any exercise your child appears to struggle with.

Signed-in parents, teachers, and learners can use the Reports area to review available results. Depending on the activity, reports may include attempts, scores, mastered and non-mastered words, practice time, and skill-specific performance.

It’s not necessary to watch your child while they are doing the spelling exercises, although some parents may wish to do so. SpellQuiz aspires to help children become responsible for their own learning, giving them the skills to self-regulate. Students who use our unique learning system become motivated as they can clearly see the progress they’ve made and exactly which words they have yet to master. Yes. SpellQuiz uses account passwords and other safeguards to protect personal information. Details about the information we collect, why we use it, and how it is protected are available in our Privacy Policy.

Open the Student Login page. The student signs in with the email address of their parent or teacher account and the password assigned to that student. If the password is unknown, the parent or teacher can update it from their dashboard.

Open Classes in the teacher dashboard, select the class, and add students there. If you need to add many students, use the import option available in the class tools instead of entering each student separately.

After signing in through Student Login, the student can find work assigned by a parent or teacher on the student dashboard. If an expected assignment is missing, confirm that it was assigned to the correct student or class.

When a learner completes an eligible spelling test or achievement, SpellQuiz creates a certificate from the recorded result. Open the Certificates area of the learner account to view the certificates that have been earned.

Open the same test again and start a new attempt. The new attempt is recorded separately, so previous results remain available for progress tracking.

Yes. SpellQuiz works in a modern web browser on computers, tablets, iPads, and smartphones. An internet connection is required, and a larger screen may be more comfortable for some learning activities.

Open the subscription or billing settings in your account and choose the cancellation option. Your access after cancellation depends on the current billing terms. If the option is unavailable, contact SpellQuiz support.

Account deletion is permanent and is different from cancelling a subscription. Contact SpellQuiz support from the email address associated with the account so the request can be verified and processed safely.
