Ella visits her grandmother's vegetable garden. Ella likes carrots, peas, and tomatoes. What will Ella pick to eat? 

Ella sees some sunflowers. Sunflowers are tall and pretty. They are too tall for Ella to reach! 

Ella finds some peas. Peas are tasty and good for you. You can eat peas raw or cooked. These peas are not ripe yet! 

Ella looks at the tomato plants. Tomatoes are juicy and red. But these tomatoes are all green. They are not ready to eat! 

Then, Ella spots a bunch of orange carrots. They are poking out of the ground. Ella pulls one up. It's just the right size and looks delicious. It's perfect! 

Ella picks a few more carrots, washes them, and enjoys the crunchy, sweet taste. Her grandmother smiles. Ella has found her favorite snack in the garden!
