Lily, the yellow duckling, couldn't find her favorite hat. It was a sunny day, and she wanted to wear it to the pond. 

Lily looked in the barn where she slept. The hat wasn't there, just some hay and a pitchfork. 

She waddled to the duck pond, thinking it might be there, but she only found lily pads and frogs. 

Lily decided to check the meadow, where she liked to play. But there, she saw only butterflies and dandelions. 

Feeling a bit sad, Lily headed back home. As she passed by the apple tree, she saw a splash of red. Her hat was hanging on a branch, swaying gently in the breeze. Lily quacked happily, put on her hat, and went to play.
