Sunny Days and Rainy Days

Samantha always carries an umbrella, no matter what the weather looks like. Be it sunny or cloudy, her trusty umbrella is always tucked away in her backpack. She believes in being prepared for every situation. After all, the weather can change quickly, and she doesn't want to get wet.

Her cousin, Leo, on the other hand, never carries an umbrella. He believes in taking the day as it comes. “Why carry extra weight when the sky is clear?” he often says. If it rains, he enjoys feeling the raindrops on his face and hair. If he gets wet, he simply lets the sun dry him up afterward.

One day, the weather report predicted a clear, sunny day. Samantha still packed her umbrella, but Leo went out with just his jacket on. By afternoon, dark clouds gathered and a sudden shower began. Samantha was dry under her umbrella, while Leo got completely drenched.

However, Leo just laughed it off. “I may be wet, but I feel alive!” he exclaimed. Samantha admired Leo’s carefree nature, but she was also glad she had her umbrella.

That evening, while talking to her mom, Samantha found out that Leo always had a spare set of clothes in his locker at school. Was he always ready for rain in his own way? Or did he truly just enjoy the sensation of rain?

Being prepared or living in the moment? Both have their own advantages. But it's always good to have a balance between the two.
